The jeep was considered such a valuable vehicle that General Eisenhower wrote that most senior officers regarded it as one of the five most important pieces of equipment used to win the war. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willys_MB

Disclaimer #
This is a heavy RC. It can cause harm if not handle properly. I cannot be held responsible for any injuries that may occur to anyone in the use of this RC.
Fixes #
In this sections, will be listed the available fixes that are not included in the zip archives you may have downloaded.
There is no current fixes for this project.
Printer Calibration #
It is imperative that your printer is well calibrated. The bearing should be a press fit and removed just by pushing on it. It should not drop out or require undue force to install in the calibration part.

You should calibrate your printer for every roll of filament, even for the same brand and color. If you need help to calibrate your printer see this resource: “Teaching Tech 3D Printer Calibration”
Here’s my procedure when I open a new roll of filament.
Printing notes #
Refer to the Willys MB Printing Notes for suggestions on how to print parts.
Frame #
Since I made this picture, I have changed the front platform in two parts. You will need to print the RC Front Platform and RC Electronic box. You will need 4 additional screws to connect them both together. This change reduces the number of support required to print.

Thanks #
Special Thanks to Joseph Hervy and Jon Madden who provided tremendous help without whom this RC version would never have seen the light of day.
Special Thanks to my Willys Jeep Forum friends: 5JeepsAz, bmorgil, gmwillys, okiemark and LarrBeard who have provided continuous support, dimensions, guidance, ideas, pictures and stories to help me make the best of this project. These great people have restored the real old Willys and Jeeps, they are Veterans, they’ve work for companies who where involved in the creation of the real Willys MB. Regardless of the silliness of my miniature plastic project compared to their real restoration project, they have welcomed me in their group. A sincere Thank You Guys!
You can meet these great people and read the story of this build right here.
Special thank you to Michel Auclair from the Willys du Québec Facebook group who provided dimensions and pictures of a genuine Willys MB front grill, without whom I would’ve not nailed this iconic signature piece of the Willys MB. Merci Michel!
